My trip to H&M this past week was successful! Honestly, I shouldn't be left in there alone. . . What I love about this outfit is the mixing of prints. Sometimes I feel like maybe that is my staple. The key to mixing prints is staying in the same color pallet. And the lions are just plain fun! 

Military

 It seams like every fall military comes back into style. A military inspired jacket can go a long way. Keep it girly by pairing it with a lacy top or layer it over a dress to get an edgy look.

One way to add a special touch to your jewelry is to get pieces that have special meaning to you. A lot of the time living social has deals on personalized jewelry. Not only do they make great layering pieces but it also is a great conversation starter. Pictured below I had a necklace made with my wedding anniversary on it. It goes great when layering it with longer necklaces.

How can you be sexy while still covered up? 

Wearing a body con dress emphasizes your body but since this dress has a 3/4 sleeve and a longer hem line your not showing to much at once. Choose one part of your body you want to accentuate and keep the rest of it covered up. Show off your legs but cover your chest, and vise vera.

Today I wore this French Connection floral motorcycle jacket with a white sheer shirt underneath. A few fun details that I added were this statement lucite necklace and the surprise about this shirt is that it has a fun tail. Have fun with fashion!

Blazer alternative

Today I wore this printed kimono with a great fringe detail. I really love the movement of this, as your walking it's just beautiful. This is my second time to wear this, the first time I wore it over a dress. This is a good alternative to the traditional blazer or cardigan.

Party Animal

I've said it before and I'll say it again. . . . always consider leopard a neutral. In Spring and Summer you can pair it with brights and pastels and during the Winter and Fall try pairing it with orange, maroon or mustard.

Laid Back Look

Today I went for a laid back style look. I wore my Joe's Jeans ankle skinny with a patterned blouse. I also wore my hair in a cute little messy bun. Always consider a bun as an alternative to a pony tail. 

Buckle Up

Today I wore this baby doll style French Connection dress with these cute Steven Madden boots. Don't always think you have to wear heels with a dress. Pairing a cute dress with a pair of boots of any kind takes your outfit in a completely different direction. What do you want your dress to say about you?

Lesson of the day

The most important lesson I learned today was linen is not your friend. As cool and as nice as it breathes, it sure does wrinkle really easily. And wrinkles make for a sloppy looking outfit :(

Keyhole

Today I wore this tribal print dress with a cute keyhole in the back. Even though this dress stands out on its own I layered some long necklaces for fun.
